- Interviews: Saturday, September 13, 2025 (Sales Facility)
- Crowning: Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. (Entertainment Pavilion)
The contestant’s parent(s) or guardian(s) agree with the Washington County Fair Association
that the contest is for the sole purpose of extending an opportunity to children to participate in a
fun event while having a good experience.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Contestants must be between the ages of 4 and 6 years of age by September 1, 2025, and
a resident of Washington County.
2. Contestants must attend a meeting Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 6:00 PM in the Washington County Sales Facility with their parent(s) or guardian(s) to be eligible to participate in the contest. Personal interviews will take place Saturday afternoon, September 13, 2025. Interview times will be drawn at the September 10th meeting.
3. Contestant’s parent(s) or guardian(s) and contestant agree the time, manner and method
of judging shall be solely within the discretion of the Washington County Fair
Association and the decision of the judges shall be final.
4. Contestants should wear western attire for the contest and interview. Shorts are not
permissible.
5. The boy and girl selected Little Mister and Little Miss must appear on behalf of the Fair
Association when asked. If for some reason the child is unable to fulfill his or her
responsibilities, for example, by moving out of the county, the first runner up will
assume the title.
6. Contestants will ride in the Washington County Fair Parade on September 13, 2025.
Winners will also ride in the 2026 Maifest Parade and various local parades.
7. The Washington County Fair Association will not be responsible for loss; injury or
damage to person or property while a contestant is either on the fairgrounds or at any
Fair related function.
8. Release of liability form must be signed and submitted with entry.
9. Entry Forms with $10.00 Entry Fee must be submitted online by 4:00 p.m. on
September 2, 2025. Limited to the first 50 applications.
10. WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED AT A CEREMONY ON SEPTEMBER 17, 2025 at 6:00
p.m.
Photos
A candid photograph of each contestant, no larger than 5X7, must be brought to the Fair Office by Wednesday, September 3. Please label the back of the photo with the child's name.
