Cowboys Professional Rodeo Association (CPRA)

The Washington County Fair host one of the top rated rodeos in the area. The rodeo is sanctioned by the Cowboys Professional Rodeo Association (CPRA) and is great fun for the whole family.

Enjoy events such as bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, mutton bustin', team roping, saddle bronc riding, calf roping, bareback riding and of course rodeo clowns, all in the comfort of our spectator friendly grandstands.

Mutton Bustin' Guidelines

  • Arrive at the rodeo arena at 6:00 on the night of performance to check in.
  • Performance will be prior to the rodeo starting at 6:30 PM.
  • Protective gear will be furnished.
  • Shirts will be furnished by sponsors.
  • Each rider will need to complete a release form and have it with them at check in. (Link is below)
  • Forms will be available at registration if needed.
  • No spurs allowed!
  • 55 pound weight limit for riders.
  • The top 4 riders each night will return for the finals on Saturday night. The committee will contact these finalists.
